The Dark Side, Pt. 2

Alright, since you all failed miserably to give me some ideas for covers to incorporate in with my originals I was forced to come up with some on my own. The first few are covers I already play, followed by some that I plan to start playing soon and very soon.
1. Hit Me Baby One More Time - Britney Spears
2. Anna Begins - Counting Crows
3. Colorful - The Verve Pipe
4. Be My Yoko Ono - Barenaked Ladies
5. Collide - Howie Day
6. Kielbasa Sausage - Tenacious D
-----------------------------------------
7. Hallelujah - In the style of Rufus Wainwright (written by Leonard Cohen)
8. Window - Guster
9. Flake - Jack Johnson
10. Morning After - Howie Day
11. Closer - Joshua Radin
12. Danny's Song - Kenny Loggins
13. Brown Eyed Girl - Van Morrison (cliche' I know)
14. Sitting, Waiting, Wishing - Jack Johnson
15. Me and Julio Down By the Schoolyard - Paul Simon
16. American Pie - Don McClean

Suggestions are still very welcome. I will not be playing again until Wednesday, September 14th due to a test on the 8th. I know, I know, you're all crushed.
Much Love,
Bo

Comments:
Hallelujah is an awesome song but you should know that it was not written by Rufus Wainwright but rather by Leonard Cohen in December 1984. The song has been coverd by many artists including Wainwright, Bono and the most popular cover Jeff Buckley.

ummm...ok, thanks

That is 100% correct. Also, Rufus Wainwright is a flaming, flaming, flaming homosexual. Nothing against being gay, but man, there's no need to beat a crowd with that fact constantly at a concert. I used to like his music... then I saw him live.

Yeah I kinda figured Rufus was gay after his song "One Man Guy," but Elton John is gay too and he's one of the greatest singer/songwriters of all time. Stop being a homophobe, Rex. Also, in regards to the first comment, I was talking to a friend of mine and he pointed out to me that, as a song writer, I wouldn't want my work to be attributed to someone else either, so thank you very much for pointing out my mistake.

Bo, I love the gay. If anyone should know that, it's you Big Boy. I still don't like Rufus. Plus, his name is Rufus - does this not bother anyone else that a pretty boy who sings in French sometimes is named RUFUS?!

Actually, Rex, Rufus is a lovely name. Take St. Rufus who was brought to Rome with St. Ignatius of Antioch and St. Zosimus during the persecutions of Trajans. St. Rufus and St. Zosimus were mangled by wild animals in the arena of Rome and were thereby martyred. His memorial is on the 18th of December if you would like to pay him homage for the disrespect you have directed towards his name...pagan.

My cats breath smells like cat food!

Lucid...

play hallelujah and girls will be all over you...well, all the cool ones will be. i heard rufus play that live and almost actually died right there.

oh, and he's gayer than gay is gay. he called himself a princess at the show.

aaaaaaaaaand one more thing. "Dear Weekend Bo" could be one of my top 5 favorite posts ever. It really speaks to me and every other twentysomething I know. good work.
